We invite you to a free samba trial with Bafo do Mundo for our season start 2020/2021
Dancers and musicians practice seperately from 16.00-18.00 and join squads from 18.00-19.00 where we practice together.

DO I HAVE TO SIGN UP?
You just have to show up , no sign up needed for the free trial. If you are interested in joining Bafo do Mundo afterwards, the membership fee is 550 kroner per season. We have to seasons each year; september – december and january – june.

FIRST TIME THERE?
Come and learn how to play the samba drums or how to dance Brazilian samba with Bafo do Mundo Samba School. We play and dance different Brazilians styles: Samba, Samba Reggae, Afro, Axé, Baile Funk etc. All levels are very welcome in any different shapes, sizes aged 16-100 years, and we start from the very beginning. We are divided into levels, so don’t worry if you have never danced or played the drums before. We will take good care of you

Dancers: you can wear your regular workout wear and flat shoes – remember to bring water.

BAFO DO MUNDO
Bafo do Mundo is one of the oldest samba schools in Denmark. It is a very social group with fun traditions; we go on two weekend trips with theme parties every year, we have shows throughout the year, we have a big annual Rainha (queen) party, bafo bonding events and a lot more. Bafo do Mundo works as a volunteer association with a board, which means all teachers and coordinators work for free as regular paying members and we have a lot of different volunteer groups for costumes, trips, PR, coordination etc. We also participate in Copenhagen Carnival every year, which we practice for all year and use the choreographies and songs we have learned throughout the year.
