Bafo do Mundo

Friday the 21st.
Bafo do Mundo will perform a Samba-Reggaeparade at 'Edel Sauntes Allé' (formerly known as Borgmester Jensens Allé) at 21.00. Then we will go to the Open Air Stage at 22.00 to do our Samba Reggae show.

Saturday the 22th.
Bafo do Mundo and a lot of carnival groups will gather at Amagertorv at 11.00, from where the big carnival parade begins. Bafo do Mundo is the last group starting from Amagertorv.
You can follow the procession along Strøget to Rådhuspladsen (townhall square) where it arrives at around 14.00.

Sunday the 23th - 17.30-18.30.
Bafo do Mundo will perform an overwhelming Samba and Samba-Reggae show with a lot of colorful dancers and musicians at 17.30-18.30 at the Brazil Stage.

Sunday the 23rd - 20.30 - 'Aftenparade'.
Is the day you find the the beautiful 'Aftenparade' - the evening parade - at 20.30 in Fælledparken. Here together, we get rid of the last memories of a cold and dark winter. It's going to be a spetacular and colorful sight, when the participants moves through the main street.

Big culture carnival in Fælledparken 21. - 23. of May, Friday
from 14.00-24.00, Saturday and Sunday from 11.00-24.00.

During the three days you can find the giant culture carnival in Fælledparken,
where from Friday the 21st of May, the festivities will begin at 14.00 and
end at 24.00, while Saturday the 22nd and Sunday the 23rd you can join
us from as early as 11.00 until 24.00.

In Fælledparken you can find lots of music on one of our 9 different stages,
dancing shows and worshops, fun activities, a children’s area, delicious food
stands and concession stalls filled with goods. This year Copenhagen Carnival
offers the following stages with a large variety of music genres:
Latin, Brazil, Reggae, Electro, Open air, Afro, World, Kids og Pride. (Program)

The Children's Carnival

The Children's Carnival has it's own designated stage and area in Fælledparken 
on the 21. -23. maj, Friday from 14.00, Saturday and Sunday from 11.00-18.00.
There is a carnival parade for kids in 'Fælledparken' on the 21st of May (Friday)
at 14.00 untill 15.00. The parade starts at the corner of 'Universitetsparken' 
and 'Edel Sauntes Allé' (formerly known as Borgmester Jensens Allé), right by
the icecream stand, and proceeds to the kids area and the Kids stage.

All children, their kindergarden or daycare facilities, and parents are welcome
to participate.

21st of May from 14.00 - 15.00: Children's Carnival parade in Fælledparken.
22nd of May from 11.00 - 14.00: The big parade on Strøget
- from Amagertorv to Rådhuspladsen (cityhall square).
23rd of May at 20.00: The evening parade in Fælledparken.
